Part 1. Complete Story Idea Sentence (Premise)

1. Write down whom your story is about. (Protagonist)

2. Write down what your protagonist wants. (Objective)

3. Write down why is it hard for your protagonist to reach his or her objective. (Obstacle)


Part 2. The Five Key Scenes of a Basic Plot

4. Write down what starts the protagonist towards his or her goal. (POA)

5. Write down what scene shows the obstacle. (Conflict)

6. Write how the protagonist does something good. (Progress)

7. Write down what really goes wrong near the end of the story. (Climax)

8. Write down how the story ends (Conclusion)
